ContiTech MEGI® - Press Releases

Hanover, March 2008Just a few mouse clicks away from the right MEGI® product on the computer, thanks to the new CD-ROM from ContiTech Vibration Control. For the very first time, all components of the MEGI® product line have been put together on an easy-to-use CD. The customer can easily file the catalogue as a folder on her or his PC. Administrator authorization is not required. „Customers without internet access can thus enjoy the advantages of the interactive catalogue and then place their orders – as usual – with our MEGI® sales partner in Germany and abroad," explains Frank Dahmen, who is in charge of Industrial Sales at ContiTech Vibration Control.

The catalogue CD has the same layout and works the same way as the online catalogue. It is also just as easy to navigate. The pop-up menus for the different headings provide quick insight into the structure of the catalogue. Whether you're looking for a product overview, application examples or theoretical background info on the MEGI® products, you won't lose a lot of time searching around. Besides providing a good rundown of the products, the CD also offers practical assistants that help in preselecting suitable elements for cab suspension or engine mount systems. The elements selected using these assistants can be printed out, or an inquiry about the products can be sent directly to ContiTech Vibration Control using a form. There is a PDF datasheet for each product, and numerous animations demonstrate how the various elements function.
